吴斌，2002年毕业于中国科学院等离子体物理研究所获博士学位。现任中国科学院等离子体物理研究所研究员、博导，从事等离子体数值模拟研究，负责国家自然科学基金、国家重点研发计划ITER专项等研究课题。目前研究兴趣为大功率直流电弧等离子体炬、射频等离子体炬应用研究，主要研究方向为：托卡马克等离子体数值模拟，低温等离子体应用研究。
