    医学博士,教授/主任药师,博士生导师,中国科学技术大学附属第一医院临床药理学系主任、药学部主任。主持课题28项(其中国家自然科学基金4项),以第一/通讯作者在JACS, Angew Chem Int Ed等期刊上发表论文八十余篇,主编和副主编论著各2部,获安徽省科技进步三等奖一项、省级教学成果一等奖两项。任中国药学会循证药学专委会委员、安徽省药学会常务理事、安徽省药学会药物临床评价研究专委会主任委员、药物经济学专委会副主任委员、安徽省药理学会治疗药物监测研究专委会副主任委员、安徽省医院协会药事管理专业委员会副主任委员,《中国药业》、《安徽医药》常务编委,《中国药房》、《中国药物评价》、《中国临床保健杂志》编委。
   目前重点进行代谢性疾病的分子机制研究。近年来,坚持将基础研究与应用研究紧密结合,在糖尿病及其并发症的发病机理和相关分子机制、药物治疗新靶点等方面进行了深入探索。本人带领的研究团队,重点从糖尿病肾病的炎症免疫机制着手,以肾小球系膜细胞和足细胞为靶细胞,从分子水平研究疾病状态下的非编码RNA、相关信号通路的变化及其对细胞功能和疾病进程的影响,探讨糖尿病肾病的发病机制;并通过传统中药黄连及其有效成分小檗碱对糖尿病肾病的作用研究,为筛选新的糖尿病肾病治疗药物和寻找新的药物作用靶点提供技术平台。
